John Marvin Clark Jr

John M. “Jack” Clark Jr., 86, of Caseville passed away Monday, April 12, 2021 at Scheurer Hospital in Pigeon.

Jack was born August 1, 1934 in Pharr, Texas to the late John Sr. and Ruth (Bell) Clark. He graduated from Troup High School in 1951 and then Hardin-Simmons University with a Bachelor’s in Business, having attended on a golf scholarship. He served in the US Army in Germany. He married Sheila Menoch on June 24, 1961 in Franklin, Michigan.

Jack was a retired golf professional, having worked at Gowanie Golf Club in Mt. Clemens for 28 years. He was a life-member of PGA of Michigan. He was a mentor to numerous youth golfers who went on to receive college golf scholarships. Church involvement was an important part of his life, and most recently he worshiped at Chandler Presbyterian Church.

Jack is survived by his wife Sheila; son John (Becky) of Boca Raton, FL and Jaye (Dan) of Oakland, CA; and grandsons Riley and Jack. He was preceded in death by his five brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be 1:00pm Saturday, April 17th at the Champagne Funeral Chapel in Pigeon. Visitation will begin an hour before the service at Noon.
