John Mcleod

John McLeod passed on December 15, 2007 after an extended illness. He was born in Caro, Michigan April 7, 1929, and preceded in death by his parents, John McLeod Sr., and wife Muriel, his loving son John Lester, his only sister Dorothy McLeod and son-in-law Carl Altenhof. He leaves his wife, Lorraine McLeod, children Ruth Ann Altenhof, (Carl) Nancy Fritz and husband Tom, Darleen Hood and husband Roger. Grandchildren Robert Daniels and wife Becky, Troy Daniels and wife Gabrielle, Rodney Hood and Tracy, Kandie Hessling and husband Austin, Shane Hood and wife Colleen, Jon Thomas Fritz and Christie, Danielle Fritz and Mathew, Karl (Lou) Altenhof and Gwendolyn Altenhof. His treasured great grandchildren Dakota and Kassidy Daniels, Lillian and Tristen Hessling, Landon Hood, Ramanda and Rebecca Hood, Heather, Troy and Zachary Marten, and his very special companion and pet Gizmo. He was the founder of J. McLeod Realty, Inc. in Caro, MI, in 1969, an upstanding Realtor for 41 years, past President of the Upper Thumb Board of Realtors. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Masons and Shriners. He was also a member of the Moose Lodge, and a long time member of the Presbyterian Church. He moved to Florida in 1990 and founded Premier Cars of Stuart, Florida. He will be dearly missed by his wife of 61 years, his loving family and friends.
