John Huston Michael

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of John Huston Michael. He departed this world on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at the age of 43. John was born April 24, 1981 in Flint, the son of Annette (Lewis) Adkins and the late Terry Michael. He was an intelligent and creative man full of wit and humor. He enjoyed reading, wood turning, and was an avid gun collector. John dedicated twenty-five years to working as a lathe operator and CNC machining, recently becoming a supervisor at Mersen USA.

John is survived by his pitbull, Sister Mary Margaret; his only son, Huston Michael; his mother, Annette Adkins; brother, Craig Lewis; sister, Barbara Peters; and many extended family members.

John’s family will be present to receive friends at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro on Thursday, June 27, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. with a time of remembrance being held at 3:30 p.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the Cass River Pet Friendz in memory of John.
