John Lynn Robinson, Jr. of Caro, age 69, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 31, 2017 at his home. John was born November 19, 1947, the son of the late John Lynn & Margaret (Baer) Robinson. Following his graduation from high school, he enlisted in the United States Navy, where he was stationed in Rhode Island and Cuba. Upon his his honorable discharge, John attended Michigan Technological University and took a position with Michigan Sugar in Caro as an instrument technician, and continued his studies at Delta College during his time there. John will be fondly remembered as a natural entertainer and story teller. His spare time was spent with family and friends, farming, gardening, canning and fishing. John is survived by three children and their spouses, Johnny & Jenel Robinson III of Caro, Tina & Chris Jackson of Attica, Jennifer & Michael Rogers of Canton; and nine grandchildren. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his sister, Elaine Westfall. John's final wish was for friends and family to gather in celebration upon his passing.
