Jon P. Gamburd, age 49, of Caseville died Thursday evening, September 19, at Scheurer Hospital while under hospice care.
He was born May 15, 1964 in Dearborn to Alvin and Kathleen (Nothnagel) Gamburd and grew up in the Taylor area.
After high school he worked several jobs, including the Cable industry in Taylor, then to Missouri where he serviced vending machines for several years. He returned to Taylor and Howell area, where he was in the Heating and Cooling business, retiring three years ago for health reasons.
John loved the water, fishing, boating; just being near the water in Caseville gave him great joy. He also enjoyed playing pool and was on a league until his health failed.
Surviving are three his children, Autumn (Philip) Kowalski of Taylor, Jon (Alicia) Gamburd of Lincoln Park and John Cecil of Taylor; grandchildren, Heaven, Amaya, Dylan, Kailyn, Seth, Courtney, Savannah and Cheyenne; his mother, Kathleen (David) Borso of Caseville; father Alvin (Carol) Gamburd of Roscommon; sister, Rebecca (Troy) Williams of Bad Axe and many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces cousins and friends.
Preceding him in death was a brother, Kevin.
Memorial services will be conducted 4:30 PM at the River’s Edge Community Church, Caseville with Rev. John Gunden, pastor officiating.
