Joseph W. "Joe" Haley

Joseph W. “JOE” Haley age 45 of Pigeon died Tuesday afternoon, February 17, at Scheurer Hospital following a heart attack.

He was born January 16, 1970 in Bad Axe to Jeannette (Divo) Haley and the late Gary W. Haley and grew up on a farm southeast of Elkton.

Joe was a 1988 graduate of Laker High School. He worked at Huron Casting for a while before going in to construction. He then worked for King Tilling, Pigeon and most recently at Schulze Farms, Pigeon.
Joe’s life centered around hunting, deer, coyote, pheasant and fishing, on the water or through the ice.

Surviving are his mother, Jeanne of Warren; sister, Lisa (Rob) Naud of Warren; three nephews, Gary, Hunter and Tyler and his niece, Madelynn.

Funerals services will be conducted 11:00 AM Friday, February 20, at Champagne Funeral Chapel, Elkton. Elder Karen Bouverette, of the Owendale Community of Christ Church will officiate with burial next to his father at Colfax Twp Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Champagne Funeral Chapel, Elkton from 2 to 9 PM Thursday and after 9:30 AM Friday.
