Joseph C. Lapka

Joseph C. Lapka, age 51, 0f Caseville died Wednesday at his home after a long battle with cancer.
He was born November 19, 1951, in Bad Axe to the late Alexander and Francis (Talaski) Lapka. He grew up in the Kinde area and moved to Caseville after he married.
Joe’s last job was with the DPW in the village of Caseville, until his health forced him to retire.
Surviving are three daughters, Carrie (Darrin) Sprague, Sherry McCrimmon and Brenda (Dave) Anczewski all of Caseville; Andrew Peters, Jeremy and Brandon Sprague and four sisters, Mary (Randy) Deachin and Connie Clish of Oakland, Marge (Chuck) Connors of Bad Axe and Lavern Lapka of Caseville.
There will be no funeral or public visitation burial will be at St. Roch Catholic Cemetery, Caseville.
