Joseph Lockhart

Joseph Lockhart of Caro, age 63, passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2019 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Joe was born April 18, 1956 in Escanaba, the son of the late Orville & Ruby (Shepley) Lockhart. He grew up in Kingston and attended Kingston High School. Joe worked for over twenty years at Rieck's Auto Parts in Kingston before taking a position at Midwest Rotary until its closing in 2003. Most recently, he was employed with E. L. Hollingsworth as a truck driver for the past fifteen years. Joe lived for his family and spent every available moment with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed time outdoors, fishing, and camping. Joe is survived by his wife, Patty of Caro; one daughter and her husband, Amanda & Clint Daisy of Caro; three grandchildren, Bailie, Jacob, and Elliott Daisy, all of Caro; seven siblings and their spouses, Ken Lockhart, John Lockhart, June Butkovich, Janice Butkovich, Laurie & Jim LaFond, Elaine Zalut, Vickey & Dennis Chandler; many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by four siblings, Bill Lockhart, Betty Savola, Eileen Timonen, and Judy Hranick. In keeping with Joe's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 12, 2019 at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro with Rev. George Pryor officiating.
