Joseph Warren Phillips

Joseph W. Phillips, 50, of Ubly, died Monday, July 10, 2017 at his home.

Joe was born November 2, 1966 in Pontiac to Joan (Campbell) and the late Joseph R. Phillips. He grew up around Caseville and attended Lakers Schools. He was a kind hearted spirit, who loved telling a good story and making people smile. It was never a dull moment spent with him, he could get the job done and have a lot of fun doing it.

He is survived by his mother Joan McIlhargie and her boyfriend Mark Goelet of Mayville; siblings Tina Foote of Caseville, Andy Phillips of Mayville, Sara (James) Clark of Kentucky, Wally (Tanya) Phillips of Ubly, and Cassie (Jeff) Partaka of Carsonville; ex-wife Gina Stevens of Midland and her son Brian Gillis; ex-girlfriend Deb Mausolf and her son Dayton; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 3:00pm Saturday, July 15th at the Champagne Funeral Chapel of Caseville followed by cremation. Visitation will be Noon Saturday until the time of the service.
