Joseph F. Turner

Joseph F. Turner, 80, of Sebewaing, passed away Thursday, April 7, 2022 at Scheurer Hospital in Pigeon.

Joe was born May 29, 1941 in River Rouge to the late William and Loretta (Marcoux) Turner.  After graduating high school he served overseas in the US Army – Airborne Division.  He married Lisa Buehler on July 4, 1985 in Sebewaing.  Joe worked in management for Ford Motor Co. After retiring in 1994, he moved to Sebewaing. He was a member of the Sebewaing Sportsman’s Club, Sebewaing Lion’s Club and the American Legion. Joe enjoyed flower gardening, boating, fishing and cooking.

He is survived by his wife Lisa; children Joseph (Lisa), Matthew, Anthony and Cheryl; 4 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; siblings Gerald and Sandy and step-brother Greg.  He was preceded in death by his brother Richard.

Visitation will be 2-7 Monday, April 11 ^th at Champagne Funeral Chapel.  Private burial will be in Michigan Memorial Park, Flat Rock.  Memorials may be made to Shriner’s Hospitals for Children.
