Josephine Catherine Pisani

Josephine C. Pisani, 84, of Bay Port, died Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at home.

Josephine was born November 15, 1931 in Detroit to the late James and Mary (Borg) Diacono and graduated from Detroit’s Western High School and business college. After 44 years of employment with Crucible Steel she retired and moved first to Caseville, then in 2001 to Bay Port. Earlier in life she had been a competitive ballroom dancer. She enjoyed her Busch Light and spending time with her family, grandchildren and pets.

She is survived by her brother Kenneth Diacono of California; nieces and nephews; daughter Tracy Partlow (Rick Fall) of Bay Port; grandchildren Jeremy (Kayla) Haire of Bay City, Tiffani (Mike) Schnell of Bay City and Nichole (Bryan) Farnsworth of Millington; and great-grandchildren Landen, Alaina, Cris, Hannah, Austin, Braden, Ashton, Gavin, Easton, and Jade.

A memorial mass will be at 10:00am Saturday, March 12th at St. Roch-OLPH Catholic Church in Caseville. Visitation will be one hour prior to mass in church Saturday. Champagne Funeral Chapel of Caseville is handling the arrangements.
