Josephine Roseltha Yenglin, age 98, of Gagetown, formerly of Pigeon, passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at Courtney Manor in Bad Axe. Josephine was born September 9, 1913 in Lakeview, South Dakota to the late Eugene and Belle (Jordan) Brill. She was united in marriage to Glen Yenglin December 24, 1938. He preceded her in death.

Josephine was a lifetime member of the Eastern Star, a full time house wife, loving and dedicated mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. She was owner of Glen's café in Bad Axe in the mid 1960's, loyal employee of Ben Franklin in Pigeon from mid 1960's until her retirement in the mid 1980's.

Josephine is survived by her children: Vivian (Richard) Smith of Gagetown, Marvin (Suzie) Yenglin of Blaney Park, Doris (John) Seley of Elkton and Neil Yenglin of Akron. Proud grandmother of 18 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, 8 great great grandchildren, one sister, Berneil Greene of Salem, Oregon and special nephew, Ronnie Brill.

Preceded in death by her husband Glen, daughter, Elaine Turner, one granddaughter, two grandsons and one great granddaughter.

Visitation Thursday, May 17, 2012 from 2-7pm at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing.

Funeral Friday, May 18, 2012 at Saint Peters Lutheran Church, 5129 French Rd., Unionville. Visitation begins at the church at 9am until the time of service at 10am.

Burial will take place privately at Grandlawn Cemetery in Pigeon.

Memorial donations may be given to Saint Peter's Lutheran Church or Laker FFA.
