Joshua Paul Ainsworth of Unionville, age 47, passed away on Sunday, July 25, 2021 at his home. Josh was born December 17, 1973 in Big Rapids to Leo & Roxanne (Poppy) Ainsworth. He graduated from USA High School with the class of 1992 and continued his studies at Delta College. Josh earned an electrical engineering degree and became an industrial technician for the automotive industry. He was very musically gifted and excelled at playing trumpet and guitar. Josh also enjoyed hunting and fishing in his earlier years and was a member of the Unionville Moravian Church. He will be remembered as a man that never had a bad word to say about anyone he encountered and was patient as a listener. Josh would often say "Life is good", and he loved helping people. Left to cherish Josh's memory are his parents, Leo & Roxanne Ainsworth of Unionville; one brother and his wife, Lance & Stephanie Ainsworth of Unionville; maternal grandmother, Audrey Poppy of Unionville; nieces and nephew, Reygan, Lennon, and Ethan Leo; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. A memorial service to celebrate Josh's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at the Unionville Moravian Church with Rev. Dr. Bill Sanders officiating. Burial will follow the service at the church cemetery. The family will be present to receive friends at the church on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider ACW Ambulance Service or the Unionville Moravian Church.
