Joshua Fessler

Joshua Adam Fessler, age 23, passed away Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at Covenant-Cooper in Saginaw, following a brief illness. Josh was born October 26, 1985 in Detroit, and came to Caro shortly after with his parents, Joseph A. & Debra (Clinesmith) Fessler. Josh graduated with the Caro High School class of 2005 and was a student at Highland Pines School in Caro. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Caro and was proud to be a member of the Caro Knights of Columbus Council #3224. Josh dearly loved to be with his family, going on trips with them, especially to Nashville or to family reunions. He loved to talk with anyone, watch movies or television and listening to Christmas music anytime of the year. Josh enjoyed going to M.D.A. Camps, playing hockey when he was younger and was an active member in the Special Olympics, where he won many awards. Josh is survived by his loving and devoted parents, Joe and Deb Fessler of Vassar; his paternal grandfather, Stanley R. Fessler, Jr. of Caro; his maternal grandparents, Elgin & Stella Clinesmith of Vassar; two uncles, Stanley & Rita Fessler, III of Caro, Greg & Jill Fessler of Caro; three aunts, Barbara & Patrick Castillo of Caro, Lisa & Mike Sopel of Alma, Sheila & Al Wisenbach of Caro, and several cousins. Josh was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Eileen Fessler in 1996 and by his uncle, Eric Clinesmith in 2003.
