Joshua Torrey Ruppel, 27, of Roseville, formerly of Elkton, died August 27, 2017 in Roseville.
Joshua was born February 6, 1990 in Bay City. He graduated from EPBP-Lakers High School in 2008. He was working as a mason for the Bricklayers Union. He enjoyed playing hockey, going to the gun range and playing X-Box with friends. He was a kind-hearted and generous friend; having known the difficulty of addiction, he was supportive of others on their road to recovery, leading him to be active with FAN (Families Against Narcotics).
He is survived by his mother Angie Souva of Caro; siblings Tancy Ruppel of Freeland, Trinity Souva of Caro, and Zachary Souva of Caro; nephew Benjamin Bower; grandmother Jean Ruppel (Jim Krohn) of Bad Axe; aunt Maureen Mausolf (Gerry Cook) of Bad Axe; and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Thomas Ruppel and aunt Wendy Tetreau.
Funeral services will be at 7:00pm Thursday, August 31st at the Champagne Funeral Chapel in Elkton. Visitation will be from 2:00pm Thursday until the time of the service.
