Joyce (Mzyk) Beyer

M. Joyce (Mzyk) Beyer age 75, of Saginaw formerly of Elkton, passed away Monday, October 26, 2015 at St. Mary’s of Michigan Medical Center.

Joyce was born January 3, 1940 in Elkton to the late Tyrus and Agnes (Griskiewicz) Mzyk. She grew up in Elkton and was 1959 graduate of Elkton High School and continued her education at Saginaw Beauty School.

Joyce was a master stylist at Xtreme Salon and Spa. She was secretary treasurer and held several other positions on the board of The Saginaw Women’s 600 Club. She was also Tournament Director and had directed their annual tournament for decades.

Surviving are her son, Michael Gaudreau of Chicago; her sister, Sally (Roger) Buschlen of Pigeon; her brother, Dennis Mzyk of Auburn,Washington; two nieces, Lisa and Brenda; two nephews, Dennis and Christopher; countless loving friends and colleagues.

Honoring Joyce’s wishes cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Joyce’s Life will take place 5:30 p.m. Thursday, November 5, 2015 at Stardust Lanes, 3750 Bay Rd., Saginaw, Michigan.
