Joyce Graham

Joyce Graham of Caro, age 89, passed away on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at the Tuscola County Medical Care Community in Caro. Joyce was born October 5, 1930 in Cass City, the daughter of the late Elmer & Beatrice (Anderson) Vandemark and graduated from Caro High School with the class of 1948. She was united in marriage with Ferris Graham on June 23, 1951 in Caro and he preceded her in death on August 19, 2013. Joyce worked for a brief time at Dibble's Dime Store before taking a position as a clerk at Kroger/Bill's Foodland in Caro, retiring in 1983 as office manager. She was a member of the Thumb Area Old Engine and Tractor Show and enjoyed more than thirty winters spent in Florida with Ferris. Her spare time was often spent tending to her flowers, knitting, and creating ceramics. Joyce loved time spent with family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom she adored. Left to cherish her memory are two children, Patricia Smith of Caro, Randy Graham and his wife, Glenda, of Eustis, Florida; two grandchildren and their spouses, Chad Smith & Chris Jakab of Chicago, Jill & Rich Priestley of Ann Arbor; two great-grandchildren, Gabriel and Natalie Priestley of Ann Arbor; one brother and his wife, Eugene & Nellie Vandemark of Bay City; two nieces and their husbands, Terrie & Drew Horton of Harrison Township, Linda & Michael Vermeesch of Saginaw. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro with Rev. Ray Karr officiating. Burial will follow the service at Indianfields Township Cemetery. The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the Forget-Me-Nots of the Tuscola County Medical Care Community.
