Joyce Diane Jackson

Joyce Diane Jackson of Vassar, age 78, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 1, 2022. Joyce was born on January 7, 1944 in Detroit and went on to graduate high school. She worked as a bank teller for the National Bank of Detroit. Joyce loved to go to the casino and play slots. Her favorite pastime was giving everyone a hassle and being in everyone's business. If you needed to know something, Joyce was the one to ask. Joyce is survived by her son, Jay Jackson; grandchildren, Kaylee Ortner-Jackson and Sage Jackson; special relatives, Erich Smith and Amanda Smith and their children; several nieces, nephews, and friends. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Robert C. Jackson. In keeping with Joyce's wishes, cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time.
