Joyce A. Kain

Joyce A. Kain, age 70, of Bad Axe died Monday evening, August 18, at Courtney Manor following a brief illness.
She was born February 12, 1938, in Bay Port at the home of her parents, the late Wesley and Eliza (Couch) Kain.
Joyce lived in Huron County all her life. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Bad Axe and enjoyed collecting bells and spoons. She especially loved spending time with her nieces and nephews.
Surviving are four sisters, Virginia (George) Roeber of Bay Port, Beaulah Kretzschmer of Owendale, Mickey Kain of Cass City and Marvel (Ken) Rievert of Sebewaing and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were three brothers, Maurice, Earl and Ralph Kain and four sisters, Olive Goach, Shirley Rothfuss, Ruby Meissner and Carol Dexter.
In keeping with her wishes there will be no visitation or funeral services. A private graveside service will be conducted for the family.
