Joyce Smith

Joyce G. Smith, age 85, of Caseville, passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at Scheurer Long Term Care in Pigeon.

She was born in Bay Port on March 19, 1927 to the late Gerald & Marie (Southworth) Henne.

On January 17, 1948 she married Vincent Smith at Hayes United Methodist Church.

Joyce liked working puzzles, reading, crocheting and playing games. She also enjoyed being a homemaker and helping on the family farm.

Joyce is survived by her husband, Vince; her children: Cindy (Mike) Wagner of Northville, Patsy (Mike) Walsh of Caseville and Denny (Leanne) Smith of Caseville; her sister, Carol Forster; grandchildren: Lisa (Denis) Somar, Brian (Neisha) Wagner, Jami Walsh, Scott (Katie) Walsh, Aaron (Kim Proffitt) Smith, Michelle (Ben) Walsh, and Daniel Smith; great grandchildren: Andrew, Matthew, Elodie, Emalee, Alex, Brady, Landon, and Mason.

She is preceded in death by her siblings: Onalee Bendrey, Wayne Henne, Clare Henne, Lois Anderson, and Dale Henne.

The Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at Hayes United Methodist Church.
Burial will be at Caseville Twp. Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be given to Hayes United Methodist Church or Scheurer Long Term Care.
