Judith Anne Furgerson

Judith Anne Furgerson of Caro, age 71, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 28, 2020 at McLaren - Caro Region Hospital. She was born June 19, 1949 in Dearborn, the daughter of the late Raymond Morey & Ullaine Marie (Charlevois) Church. Judi Church and her best friend, Robert "Mike" Furgerson, were married April 19, 1969 in Dearborn. For many years, Judi worked as a medical secretary at Children's Hospital in Detroit. Following her retirement, Judi and Mike moved to the Caro area where she enjoyed nature, and more importantly, spending time with family. Judi is survived by her husband of fifty-one years, Mike; two children and their spouses, Lori U. & Matthew J. Hatch of Cedarville, Michael L. Furgerson & Carrie Swanson of Livonia; and was "Grammy" to five grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother and his wife, Morey & Carol Church of Saline; and one sister, Sandy (Church) Shirey. In addition to her parents, Judi was proceeded in death by a sister, Barbara (Church) Bowers. In keeping with Judi's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial celebration is being planned for Judi's birthday on Saturday, June 19, 2021.
