Judith Ann "Judy" Koch

Judith Ann "Judy" Koch of Unionville, age 67, passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at her sister's home in Unionville. Judy was born December 15, 1950 in Detroit, the daughter of Rosemarie (Charette) Betson and the late Robert A. Betson. She was employed with Arise and MDLive. Judy was a member of the Sebewaing American Legion Auxiliary Post #293 and served as secretary-treasurer. Judy is survived by two sons and their spouses, Ken & Chuckie Koch of Manton, Dan & Kimberly Koch of Lake City; her mother, Rosemarie Betson of Unionville; one sister, two brothers and their spouses, Lynn & Olin Hemerline of Unionville, Robert J. Betson of Unionville, Tom & Nancy Betson of Sebewaing; nephews and their spouses, Bryan Hemerline, Jason & Melissa Hemerline, Kim & Steve Deneen, Tom & Ashley Betson, Krissy & Chris Alexander; several great-nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, Blaze. In addition to her father, Judy was preceded in death by one sister, Sharon Betson. In keeping with Judy's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2018 beginning at 11:00 a.m. at the Sebewaing American Legion Post #293, 8255 Unionville Road, Sebewaing, MI 48759.
