Judith Ann Remar

"Oh honey, I love you. " Those of you who knew Judith Ann Remar knew and felt her love deeply because she had so much to share. It is with thoughts of others that Judy lived and left this world at age 72, on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at Covenant-Cooper Hospital.

Judy was born in Lansing, Michigan on October 1, 1948 to Norman and Betty Jackway. She knew from the moment she met Roger that she was going to have a great adventure and married him on August 19, 1967. They honeymooned at the Tiger's game and shared so many wonderful moments watching their own children Michael Remar of Lowell, Karen and Scott Smith of Owendale, and Nicole and Brett Powers of Lapeer playing sports as well. Judy is not only survived by her husband and children, but also her 10 grandchildren Mia, Jenna, Aiden, Isabel, Nicholas, Gavin, Wyatt, Kingston, Sarah, and Vivian; her brothers Robert James Jackway (Kathryn), Michael Jackway, and her sister Susan Dalton (Michael); and many nieces and nephews.

Judy was involved in so many things that showed her compassion including her work as a daycare provider, nurse's assistant at the adult care facility in Caro, the Ladies Auxiliary of Unionville, and the Unionville Community Association. Judy volunteered throughout her life and always had a warm meal and heart to offer. In her later years, Judy developed a passion for traveling and ensured her family shared that passion by making family vacations "mandatory." She traveled the United States extensively including a cruise in Alaska, an amazing Kayak adventure in Hawaii, and an unforgettable trip out west. She took great pride in being a wife, a mother and grandmother, and a true friend.

To honor Judy's wishes, cremation will take place with a private graveside service at Columbia Township Cemetery in Unionville.
