Judith Marie Shoup

Judith Marie Shoup of Caro, age 82, was born into eternal life on the morning of Friday, January 7, 2022 at her home. Judy was born September 8, 1939 in Saginaw, the daughter of the late Ted and Irene (Horenziak) Roskie. She graduated high school and went on to obtain her nurses aid certificate. On August 16, 1958, Judy was united in marriage with Jack Shoup. Sadly, Jack passed away on September 21, 2011. Together they shared over 53 years and countless memories. Judy worked and retired from McLaren Caro Regional Hospital. She was a parishioner of St. Christopher Parish and enjoyed puzzles, cross-stitching, and reading. Judy leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Doug Shoup, Dean (Patty) Shoup, Dale (Raylene) Shoup, Diann Burns, and Scott (Abbie) Shoup; grandchildren, Mandy, Korrey, Allison, Randy, and Nathan; great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Noah, Braxton, Gwendalyn, and Veda; sister, Joyce (Gary) Janks, along with several nieces, nephews, and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, Judy was welcomed home to heaven by infant son, Don; great-granddaughter, Alysa; and daughters-in-law, Sandy and Cheryl Shoup. A Funeral Liturgy will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at St. Christopher Parish, Sacred Heart Church in Caro with Rev. Christopher Coman officiating. Private inurnment will be held in Ellington Cemetery at a later date.
