Judy Ann Eisinger, 74, passed away on August 1, 2023, in Dallas, Texas. Judy was a beacon of courage,
resilience, and love. Widowed and fiercely independent, Judy spent her precious years making a
profound impact on those she met. Her vibrant spirit, inspiring nature, and trademark resilience were
the hallmarks of her remarkable life. She had the ability to touch lives in a way that made everyone feel
special and loved. In the words of Maya Angelou, "I can be changed by what happens to me. But I refuse
to be reduced by it"; Judy lived by this ethos, demonstrating remarkable courage and resilience in every
facet of her life.
Judy's life was a testament to the power of love, radiating warmth and affection toward her family and
friends. She split her time living in Texas and Michigan, enriching the lives of her family and friends in
both states with her loving and inspiring presence. Judy cherished her special relationship with her
grandsons, Jalen and Henry. They were the source of her endless joy and motivation.
Judy was born Judy Ann Dubs on August 17, 1948, in Pigeon, Michigan. She graduated from Laker High
School in 1966 and married the love of her life, Wilbert Eisinger, on August 6, 1966. She worked several
jobs throughout her life, including owning the Montgomery Ward Catalog stores in Bad Axe with her
husband. Most importantly, she was a dedicated and loving wife and parent.
She is survived by her children, Marcy and Joel Eisinger, daughter-in-law Dana; beloved grandsons, Jalen
Spates and Henry Eisinger; step-granddaughters, Joeleigh and Jaylin White; her sisters, Delores (Ellis)
Gardner and Erma (Russ) Hazard and her many loved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death
by her husband, Wilbert Eisinger, her parents, Harvey and Laura Dubs, and her brothers, Robert and
Walter (Mike) Dubs. Helen Keller once said, "What we have once enjoyed deeply, we can never lose. All
that we love deeply becomes a part of us"; This quote encapsulates Judy's spirit. Her memory will
forever be a part of those who loved her and were loved by her.
