Judy Pat Hile

Judy Pat Hile of Caro, age 81, passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2022 at her home. Judy was born October 22, 1940 in Elmira, the daughter of the late Lyle and Reva (Hood) Prebble and spent her early years on the family farm raising potatoes. She was a graduate of Gaylord High School, Class of 1957. She was united in marriage with Gerald Hile on September 11, 1965 in Gaylord and he preceded her in death on October 28, 2017. Judy started her working career as a teen as a switchboard operator in Elmira and following graduation was employed with Century Telephone Company until her retirement. She was a member of the Watrousville United Methodist Church. Judy loved birds, her dogs, playing euchre and bingo, going to the Moose, and especially trips to LasVegas. She is survived by three children and their spouses, Jeri & Tom Stanislawski of Gaines, Nancy & Domnick Cuppari of Gaines, David & Bambi Hile of Caro; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Dorothy Jensen of Elmira. In addition to her parents and husband, Judy was preceded in death by two sisters, Ilah Sattler and Lois Prusakiewicz. Funeral services will be held at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro on Monday, October 17, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Michele Hile officiating. The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and again on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the Watrousville United Methodist Church.
