Judy Hile

Judy E. Hile passed away unexpectedly at her home, Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at the age of 63. Judy was born on September 30, 1945 in Saginaw, the daughter of the late John (Jack) and Betty (Grech) Hile and lived in the Watrousville area most of her life. Judy graduated from Caro High School in 1963. She attended Michigan State University earning a bachelors degree and masters degree in physical geography. She did further graduate work at the University of Florida. Judy returned to Michigan State University earning a second masters degree in water resource management. In later years, she took computer classes. Judys jobs were many and varied. She worked for the Department of Defense in Battle Creek, was a substitute rural mail carrier for the Caro Post Office, worked in sales for Bronners CHRISTmas Wonderland, worked for Burger King in Frankenmuth, worked for Little Caesars in Vassar, was a stock photographer for Unicorn Photos, worked as a designer for the Saginaw News and most recently taught college classes for Central Michigan University, Davenport University, and Mott Community College. Judy served as a Trustee on the Juniata Township Board, taking office November 20, 1992. She enjoyed nature and had a great respect for wildlife, and was noted for her many cats. Judy is survived by one brother, Thomas A. Hile and his wife Michele Hile; two nephews, John Thomas Hile of Rochester, and Allen Thomas Hile of Madison Heights; and special cousins, Michelle Oaks and her son Josh of Vassar. In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by an infant sister, Gloria Jean Hile. In keeping with Judys wishes, cremation has taken place.
