Judy J. Jarvis, age 61, of Pigeon died Wednesday afternoon, June 9, at Bay Medical Center from complications of renal failure.
She was born June 7, 1943 at the home of her parents the late Rudolf and Arleta (Roth) Forster in Elkton.
Judy was a 1961 EPBP Laker High School graduate. She raised her family in the Elkton area and as lived in the area all her life.
She was the co-owner of JuDen's in Pigeon for several years in the early and mid nineties. Most recently she was a health care aide at Home Sweet Home Retirement Manor, in Pigeon but was forced to retire in 2001 because of her failing health. Her free time was filled with reading knitting, sewing and play golf. She also spent much time loving and taking care of her family.
Surviving are two sons, Darcy (Melissa) McCarty of Caseville and Jeff (Christy) McCarty of Anchorage, Alaska; two grandchildren, Ashlee and Justin; three sisters, Betsy (Bruce) Farver and MaryJo (Ed) Kosinski both of Elkton and Rhonda (Greg) Matelski of Bad Axe and her Brother, Kevin (Peggy) Forster of Caseville. A brother, Robert preceded her in death.
A funeral service will be conducted 8:00 PM Friday evening at the Champagne Funeral Chapel, Elkton with burial in Riverside Cemetery, Elkton.
Friends may call from 3 to 8 PM Friday. Memorial may be given to the family.
