Judy Ann Yates

Judy Ann Yates of Caro, age 74, passed away at her home on Saturday, July 4, 2020. Judy was born October 3, 1945 in Bay City, the daughter of the late Albert & Geraldine (Cosens) Sharp. She grew up in Wisner Township and attended Unionville Schools. Much of her life was spent as a homemaker and she also served as a cook at several area restaurants. Judy enjoyed shopping, watching television, and had an extensive Native American collection. Her happiest memories came from time spent with her grandchildren and her beloved dogs. Judy was a member of the Methodist faith for much of her life and more recently attended the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Caro. Judy is survived by five children and their spouses, Janie & Chuck Steiner of Caro, David Craig of Caro, Mike Craig of Cass City, Mary Marygold of Caro, Sherry & Kyle Eberlein of Unionville; fourteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three siblings, Jerry, Eugene, and Jane; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by a son, Allen Matthew Craig in 2007; and granddaughter, Lidia Johnson in 2017. In keeping with Judy's wishes, cremation has taken place. A time of gathering for family and friends will be held at a later time and will be announced on this site as information becomes available. Burial will take place in the future at the Wisner Township Cemetery.
