June Elizabeth Hodges

June Elizabeth Hodges of Cass City, age 76, passed away on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at Hills & Dales General Hospital in Cass City. June was born June 5, 1945 in Caro, the daughter of the late L. Edgar and Genevieve Eliza (Weeks) Hodges. She was a sweet and caring person who loved to laugh. June enjoyed being outdoors in her lawn swing, balloons and eating candy. Although she loved presents, more important was enjoying the atmosphere of Christmas itself. June is survived by one sister and her husband, Laureen & James Joslin of Akron; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews; and her Hunt Home family who will greatly miss her. In addition to her parents, June was preceded in death by two brothers and sisters-in-law, Frank & Charlotte Hodges, Lynn & Mary Hodges; and a nephew, David Warren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro with Pastor Phillip Hudson officiating. Interment will follow in Indianfields Township Cemetery in Caro. The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the American Heart Association.
