June Wilma Mcalpine
June W. McAlpine, age 84, of Sebewaing, passed away Friday night, April 10, 2015, at McLaren Bay Region in Bay City.
June was born in Sebewaing on April 24, 1930, to the late Oscar and Erma (Anderson) Holland. She married James McAlpine on October 26, 1951, at Owendale United Methodist Church. She enjoyed visiting casinos, baking and spending time with family.
June is survived by her sons: James W. McAlpine, Jr., of Sebewaing and Jeffery (Debbie) McAlpine, of Essexville; granddaughter, Kristie McAlpine, of Ithaca, NY; sisters: Odeal DeCaire and Joyce Winters; and many nieces and nephews.
June is preceded in death by her husband, James; siblings: Gerald Holland, Roland Holland, Leland Holland, James Holland, Howard Holland and Orla Schweitzer.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 16, 2015, at Juengel-Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing from 4-8pm.
The funeral service will be Friday, April 17, 2015, at Juengel-Mellendorf Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 10am until the time of service at 11am. Rev. Cindy Parsons will be officiating.
Burial will take place privately at Memorial Park Cemetery in Sebewaing.
Memorial donations may be given to Trinity United Methodist Church or Bay Shore Camp.
