June Mae Thompson

June Mae Thompson of Caro, age 81, passed away on Thursday, September 3, 2015 at her home, following a lingering illness. She was born June 21, 1934 in Monroe, the daughter of the late Arthur & Florence Phiel. Following graduation from high school, June worked many different jobs along with raising her family. June lived most of her life in Flint and worked for many years at Buick City. During most of her adult life, June was married to Arthur Thompson. She enjoyed playing bingo and domino's, Skip-Bo and collecting dolls, and loved going on picnics. June is survived by her husband, Arthur Thompson; seven children, Larry Thompson of Kalkaska, Valerie Ratcliffe living in Arizona, Carol Campbell of Caro, Allen Thompson of Flint, Donald Thompson of Kalkaska, Arthur Thompson of Flint, Brenda Burton living in Tennessee; twenty-two grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Other than her parents, June was preceded by one sister and one brother. Private family services will be held at a later date.
