June Timko

June Ann Timko, age 71, passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2009 at Covenant Health Care - Cooper in Saginaw, following a brief illness. June was born December 7, 1938 in Caro, the daughter of the late F. Sheldon & Beatrice (Kelly) Wilsie. She was a lifelong area resident and a graduate of Caro High School in the class of 1957. June was united in marriage with Virgil Timko on September 20, 1958 at the Caro Methodist Church. For several years following their marriage, June worked as a Nurses Aide at the Caro Hospital, and continued caring for patients in Alabama during Virgils service in the military. She enjoyed being with her family and creating things with her hands, such as ceramics, paintings and crafts. June has also been an Avon representative since 1958. Surviving are her husband of over fifty-one years, Virgil Timko of Caro; two children and their spouses, Tammy & Rob Austin of Seattle, Washington, Timothy & Theresa Timko of Caro; four grandchildren, Denali Hill and her husband Andy of Las Vegas, Jesse Austin of Indianapolis, Indiana, Nicholas and Brenden Timko of Caro; a greatly anticipated Hill great-grandchild, soon to be born; two brothers, one sister & their spouses, Shurley & Sharlie Wilsie of Caro, Eloise Simpson of Caro, Richard Wilsie and his special friend, Bridgette, of Scottsdale, Arizona and several nieces and nephews.
