Justin John Matuszak

Justin John Matuszak of Unionville, age 39, passed away suddenly on Friday, March 23, 2018 at his home. Justin was born May 13, 1978 in Caro, the son of Anthony J. & Sherry L. (Hitsman) Matuszak. He was united in marriage with the former Debbi Nowlin, and though the couple separated, he continued to care deeply for Debbi and her children. Justin assisted with the family farm and was previously employed with the Lear Corporation in Marlette as an assembler until the plant closed in 2001. He was happiest outdoors, and enjoyed fishing, boating, hunting and sharing outdoor adventures with his nieces and nephews. Justin is survived by his parents, Sherry Scott of Caro and Anthony J. Matuszak of Unionville; four brothers and their wives, Lance A. Matuszak of Owendale, Eric J. & Rebecca Matuszak of Reese, Jason S. & Jeana Matuszak of Vassar, Theron M. Matuszak of Muskegon Heights; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Justin was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Donna & Roy Hitsman; paternal grandparents, Genevieve & Stanley Matuszak; and his sister-in-law, Melissa Matuszak. In keeping with Justin's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private gathering will be held at a later date.
