Justin Rauschenberger

Justin Rauschenberger, age 45, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 21, 2007 at his home. He was born on May 12, 1961 in Caro, the son of the late Jim & Shirley J. (Putnam) Smith. At the age of five, he was adopted by Max & Doris Rauschenberger and was raised with his brother and sisters in Flint and later in the Clare area. For several years, Justin was employed as a cook at Sandys Restaurant. On November 1, 2002 he was united in marriage to Roni Spencer in Mt. Pleasant. Justin took great interest in collecting American Indian art work and lore and fishing and hunting. Justin is survived by his wife, Roni of Caro; one son, Justin Rauschenberger, Jr. of Flint; three step-children and their spouses, Sally & Tony Kopp of Cass City, Kori & her fiance Alex Skinner of Caro, Mike & Melissa Spencer of Deford; ten grandchildren; his adopted father Max and his wife Edna Rauschenberger of Clare; one brother, Aaron & Lori Rauschenberger of Mt. Morris; two sisters, Violet Rauschenberger of Swartz Creek, Crystal & Al Boisclaire living in Kansas; two adopted brothers, seven step-brothers and sisters; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
