Justin James Saunders

Justin James Saunders passed away unexpectedly at his home in Munith, Michigan at the age of 32 on August 13, 2015. Born April 2, 1983 in Escanaba, Justin received a residential wiring certificate in 1997 from the Tuscola County Technology Center in Caro. He graduated from Akron-Fairgrove High School with the class of 2001 and attended Michigan Career and Technical Institute in Plainwell where he received an Electronics Technician Certification in 2004. Justin was employed by API Technologies, formerly Aeroflex Inmet, Inc. for over eleven years. He was a member of the Amateur Radio Operators and received an Amateur Radio Award. Justin enjoyed tinkering with electronics and had a natural curiosity of how things worked mechanically. He took pride in working on his house and garden as well as wearing his favorite cowboy boots. He will be remembered for his artistic ability and eye for detail. Justin is survived by the love of his life, fianc Sarah Rapai of Munith; his mother and step-father, Karen & Patrick M. Sheridan of Fairgrove; father, Royal Saunders of McMillan; grandparents, Kenton & June Colling of Millington; sister, Maureen K. Sheridan of Caro; step-brothers, Lucas & Heather Sheridan of Bay City, Cody & Megan Sheridan of Fairgrove, Christopher & Amanda Saunders of Escanaba; special cousin, Michelle & James Miller of Milford; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Justin was preceded in death by his grandparents, Warren & Lenora Saunders; and cousin, Eric Saunders. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro with Pastor Cliff Jordan officiating. Private burial services will be held later at the Watertown Township Cemetery in Fostoria.
