Karen M. Anderson

Karen M. Anderson, age 67, of Essexville, passed away November 1, 2017, at McLaren Bay Region in Bay City.

Karen was born in Bay City on October 6, 1950, to Edgar and Susan (Bernhardt) Dinkel. She graduated in 1968 from Sebewaing High School and then attended Delta College. She retired as a flight attendant for United Airlines after 37 years. Karen enjoyed gardening, reading, attending cooking classes, traveling with her family and spending time with her granddaughter.

Karen is survived by her daughter, Suzanne Anderson of Portage; brothers: Larry (Kathy) Dinkel of Gladwin and Mark (Meg) Dinkel of Cadillac; granddaughter, Olivia; 1 niece and 2 nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday, November 5, 2017, at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing from 2-8pm with a 7pm scripture service.

The funeral service will be Monday, November 6, 2017, at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, 614 Pine St., Essexville. Visitation will begin at 9am until the time of service at 10am.

Entombment will be at Oakwood Mausoleum in Saginaw.

Memorial donations may be given to St. Jude Children's Hospital or the American Heart Association.
