Karl Traster

Karl E. Traster, age 46, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, June 23, 2010. Karl was born September 23, 1963 in LaPuenta, California, the son of Carl L. & Alice (Crittenden) Traster, and graduated from Kingston High School in 1982. One of his greatest prides was working as an electrician in both Tennessee and Michigan, and was most recently employed at the Tuscola Peer Center. Karl will be best remembered as a loving and devoted father and uncle. He cared deeply for people, and worked as an advocate for the underprivileged in our community. Karl also enjoyed painting pictures and fishing in his spare time. Karl is survived by one daughter and her husband, Shiann & Jeremiah Downing of Gagetown; his mother and her husband, Alice & Paul Festian of Caro; three siblings and their spouses, Ruth & Larry Simonye of Davison, Steven & Christina Traster of Deford, Lori & Matt Price of Caro; nieces and nephews, Kristin, Derek, Darian, Chelsey, Destiny, Jesse and Axel Traster, Derek and Dalton Price. Karl was preceded in death by his father, Carl L. Traster on October 19, 1998.
