Kathleen Gerber

Kathleen Marie Gerber, age 49 years, of Gardner Street, Caro, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, September 13, 2006 at her home. She was born on December 30, 1956 in Detroit to the late George and Eleanor (Zolman) Ardelean. Kathy attended Avondale High School in Auburn Hills, and married Edward P.Gerber on December 2, 1994 in Pontiac. They moved to Caro in 2003, where she was employed as a restaurant cook. Kathy loved her dog, Elly, watching T.V., camping with a big bon fire, music, telling jokes and eating raw oysters and lobster. She loved to watch Shirley Temple, John Travolta and Tom Hanks movies. She was a die-hard Detroit Lions Fan. She also had an extensive collection of pig figurines. She is survived by her husband Edward; one son, Jonathon Ardelean and his special friend, Jocyln, of Carnegie, Pennsylvania; three brothers and one sister, Micheal (Cathy) Ardelean of Auburn Hills, Mark Ardelean of Waterford, Chris Ardelean of Tiffin, Ohio and Nancy Pappa of Davie, Florida several nieces and nephews. One sister, Karen Ardelean, proceeded her in death. Following Kathleens wishes, cremation has taken place. Private family services will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the ARID Club of Caro.
