Kathleen Wood

Kathleen Wood of Cass City, age 67, passed away on Friday, January 29, 2016 at Covenant Health Care - Harrison in Saginaw, following a lingering illness. Kathy was born April 7, 1948 in Trenton, the daughter of the late Bernard and Anna (Osborn) Roberts. She was united in marriage with Robert Wood in Monroe, and the couple have celebrated forty-three years of marriage together. Kathy lived for her grandchildren, and enjoyed flowers and caring for her animals. She is survived by her loving husband, Robert Wood of Cass City; three children, Bradley & Melissa Roberts of Deford, Anne Snell of Caro, William Wood and his fianc, Christy Zechmeister, of Akron; nine grandchildren; siblings, Norman & Dianne Schultz of Southgate, Diane & Bob Sexton of Marshall, Karen & Bob Vasicke of Southgate; and sister-in-law, Ellie Schultz of Texas, In addition to her parents, Kathleen was preceded in death by three siblings, Gloria, Jim and Bud. In keeping with Kathleen's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
