Kathryn Marie Louis

Kathryn Marie Louis , age 77, of Bay City and Bradenton, Florida, formerly of Gagetown, passed away in Bradenton, Florida on March 17, 2022.

Kathryn was born in Cass City on March 21, 1944 to Raymond K. and Doris M. (Rockerfeller) Nicholas. She graduated from Cass City High School in 1962. Kathryn married Garry R. Louis on February 1, 1964 in Unionville. He preceded her in death on October 15, 2015. Kathryn enjoyed working with Garry on their farm. Kathryn and Garry enjoyed spending half the year at their winter home in Bradenton, Florida, where she enjoyed being outdoors by the water and watching the dolphins. Kathryn also enjoyed gardening, walking, dancing, traveling and being with her family. She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church (Bach).

Kathryn is survived by her daughter, Laurie (Douglas, Jr.) Larsen; granddaughter, Anna Larsen; brother, Roger (Gloria) Nicholas of Caseville; brothers-in-law: Lynn (Carol) Louis and Kirk Louis; and many nieces and nephews.

Kathryn is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brothers: Richard Nicholas and Gerald (Olive) Nicholas.

The funeral service will be Thursday, March 24, 2022 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church (Bach). Visitation will begin at the church at 10am until the time of service at 11am. Officiating will be Rev. Thom Garrison.

Burial will be at Silverlawn Cemetery in Sebewaing.
