Kay Frances Harker

Kay Frances Harker of Caro, age 77, passed away Thursday, May 2, 2024, at Tuscola County Medical Care Community in Caro. Kay was born June 23, 1946, in Savannah, Tennessee, the daughter of the late William and Reba (White) Lewis. On March 29, 1968, Kay married William Harker, Jr. at a Baptist church in Berkley and the couple shared more than fifty-six years of marriage. Kay was known for her gentle and reserved nature and had a special affection for parrots and parakeets. In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting beautiful afghans, shopping, and leisurely drives through Michigan’s picturesque countryside.

Kay is survived by her loving husband, William Harker, Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro. Burial will follow at Roseland Park Cemetery in Berkley. Kay’s family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
