Kay Ann Horning of Millington, age 67, passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2022 at her home. Kay was born August 12, 1955 in Flint, the daughter of the late Ralph and Loretta (Laycock) Horning. Kay graduated from Millington High School with the class of 1973 and went on to obtain her Associate's degree from Mott Community College. Kay was a manager at Speedway Service Station for a number of years and a faithful member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Millington. She enjoyed crocheting, putting puzzles together, and making stuffed animals for her grandchildren. Kay was a social butterfly, very thoughtful, and never had a complaint. Her loving and caring memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends for years to come. Kay leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Alana Horning; grandchildren, Kevyn Jobson, Randi Haydon, Brandon David, Hailey McPherson, Brianna McPherson, Ethan McPherson; two great-grandchildren; siblings, Dee (Jerry) Baker and Ricky (Mellie) Horning; several nieces, nephews, and friends. In addition to her parents, Kay was preceded in death by her brothers, Gary Horning and Ken Cambal. In keeping with Kay's wishes, cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time.
