Kenneth Green

Kenneth John Green, age 82, of Caro passed away on Sunday, August 29, 2010 at Select Specialty Hospital, Saginaw. He was born on July 5, 1928 in Wells Township to the late Ray and Charlotte (Threehouse) Green. Mr. Green served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He married the former Luella Rosenkranz on October 3, 1953, and she survives him. He was a construction worker; working on a variety of buildings and jobsites. He was a member of Labor Union #1098 and a life member of Caro V.F.W. Post #4164. Mr. Green enjoyed being with his family, as well as hunting, fishing, gardening and canning pickles. He also enjoyed socializing with friends at McDonalds over coffee. He is survived by his wife, Luella; two children, Eugene (Laura) Green of Caro and Debra (Roger) Hack of Guam; five grandchildren, Evin (Kayla) Green, Aarin (girlfriend, Cyndi Donley) Green, Ean (Deanna) Green, Patrick (Sue) Hack and Joshua (girlfriend, Amanda Chancey) Hack; four great-grandchildren, Andraya, Jayden and Raven Hack and Henry Green; three sisters, Mildred Steele, Thelma (Robert) Reed and June (Delmar) Putnam; one brother, Duane (Judy) Green; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Beatrice Peet and Isabella Smith. In keeping with Mr. Greens wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or American Cancer Society.
