Kenneth H. Hallock Sr., age 58 of Grant Twp. south of Elkton, died Wednesday morning, November 26, at his home from Lou Gehrig's Disease and cancer.
He was born October 22, 1950 in Pigeon to the late Howard and Wava (Diefenbach) Hallock and lived in Huron County all of his life.
On May 10, 1975, he was united in marriage to Janet Hiller in Bad Axe.
Ken was a carpenter and had been employed at Don Deering Construction for twenty years. For the past seven years he worked at Harbor Beach Cable.
Woodworking was Ken's passion; he enjoyed building anything from wood for his children, grandchildren and others. He especially enjoyed spending time with his kids and grandkids.
Surviving are his wife, Jan; five children, Dawn (Ken) Nowiski of Filion, Ken (Jennifer) Hallock Jr. of Bad Axe, Christopher Hallock of Bad Axe, Bridget (Chad) Nowiski of Kinde and Melissa (Tim) Taylor; twelve grandchildren, Alan, Josh, Kenny, Shaun, Austin, Prestin, Ashleigh, Eithan, Nikulas, Bret, Amanda and Jonathan; four brothers, Dan, Randy, Harold, Jeff and Lenny Hallock and three sisters, Kathy, Cindy and Glenda.
Preceding him in death was a brother, Pat.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Monday at the Champagne Funeral Chapel, Elkton where friends may call from 10:00 AM until the time of services.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the family.
