Kenneth Earl Kasserman

Kenneth E. Kasserman, 78, of Pigeon, passed away Friday, September 20, 2024 at his home.

Ken was born February 17, 1946 in Pigeon to the late Earl and Mayme (Bendrey) Kasserman.  He graduated from Laker High School in 1964.  He married Shirley Wurst on October 25, 1969 at the Pigeon First United Methodist Church.

Ken was a retired crop and dairy farmer.  He attended Faithway Church.  He enjoyed gardening, cooking, hunting, fishing and time spent with his family.

Ken is survived by his wife Shirley; children Jill (Dave) Crossgrove of South Carolina, Karen (Joe) Furness of Elkton, Julee Kasserman of Washington and David (Connie) Kasserman of Elkton; grandchildren Krysta, Amber, Brandon, and Chandler; great-grandson Jamie; and siblings Keith (Yvette) Kasserman, and Joyce (Patrick) Riley.

A memorial service will be at 11:00am Saturday, November 2, 2024 at Faithway Church with a luncheon to follow at church.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at church.  Champagne Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
