Kenneth “Ken” A. Campbell of Caro, age 81, passed away Saturday, January 31, 2026 at his home with his family by his side. Ken was born on November 6, 1944, in Caro, to the late Harold and Pauline (Taylor) Campbell and attended Caro High School. After school, Ken worked for the Shady Hollow Golf Course for several years before starting at General Motors at the V8 Engine Plant in Flint, from where he retired as a tradesman in 1994. After his retirement, Ken stayed active, working at Indianfields Township Park and State Street Fitness, and stayed in shape lifting there at the gym. He was a lifelong member of Caro First Baptist Church. He married Barbara Ann Bailey on August 18, 1962, and the couple shared over fifty-four years of marriage together until her passing on April 5, 2017. In his free time, Ken loved golfing and bowling. He enjoyed time fishing on the bay and could often be found having breakfast with his buddies wherever they could find the best price for coffee. He is remembered as being a loving and supportive family man who was always happy and cracking jokes. Ken was there for his kids and grandkids no matter what, and would do anything for those he loved.
