Kenneth J. Kilbourn

Kenneth Jay Kilbourn of Deford, age 57, passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2013 at his home, following a lingering illness. Ken was born December 7, 1956 in Caro, the son of Raymond “Joe” Kilbourn and the late Patricia (Hitchings) Kilbourn. He was a lifelong resident of Tuscola County, and on January 21, 1978 he was united in marriage with the former Brenda Whittaker in Deford. Ken was the owner of Ken's Tire Supply. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening. Ken is survived by his wife of over thirty-five years, Brenda; three children and their spouses, Jason & Renee Kilbourn of Deford, Jeremy & Jennifer Kilbourn of Deford, Joshua & Whitney Kilbourn of Caro; his father Raymond "Joe" Kilbourn of Deford; brother-in-law, Tom Turner; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. In addition to his mother, Ken was preceded in death by an infant brother and a sister, Lori Turner. A gathering and remembrance of Ken's life will be held on Friday, December 20, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro. In keeping with Ken's wishes, cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Kenneth Kilbourn family discretionary fund, c/o Brenda Kilbourn, 205 W.
