Kenneth S. Mahan

Kenneth S. Mahan, Sr. of Caro, age 58, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, June 23, 2017. Kenny was born July 17, 1958 in Pontiac, the son of the late Vernard & Maryann (Scribner) Mahan. He was a man of many trades, and worked as a builder and mechanic. Kenny will be remembered for his big heart and selfless personality that led him to take countless people under his wing. Kenny is survived by seven children and their spouses, Brandy & Patrick Henderson of Davison, Michel McIntosh of Utica, James & Crystal Mahan, KJ Mahan, Summer Mahan, Kolten Mahan, Jayden Mahan, all of Caro; two step-children, Emily Curtis and Ayla-Mae Childs, both of Caro; ten grandchildren, Ariel, Austin, Riley, Brooklynn, Emily, Bree, James, Carsen, Isiak, Annabell; three siblings and their spouses, Cheryl & Paul Armstrong of Hadley, Andrea & Berry Kremm of Oakland, Dennis & Cheryl Mahan of Lake Orion; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Kenny was preceded in death by one brother, Terry Mahan. Family and friends will gather to celebrate Kenny's life on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The evening will conclude with a brief prayer.
