Kenneth Stephen "Kj" Mahan, Jr.

Kenneth "KJ" Stephen Mahan, Jr. of Caro, age 33, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 13, 2021. KJ was born May 12, 1988 in Pontiac, the son of Jane (Cox) Mahan and the late Kenneth Mahan, Sr. Like his father, KJ was a man of many trades and worked in the construction field pouring concrete and building. When he was able, KJ enjoyed riding dirt bikes, mud bogging, fishing, boating, and hunting. KJ is survived by three children, Annabell King, Isiak Mahan, and Kenslee Mahan; his mother, Jane Cox-Mahan; six siblings and their spouses, Brandy & Patrick Henderson, James & Crystal Mahan, Michael McIntosh, Summer Mahan, Kolten Mahan, and Jayden Mahan; nieces and nephews, Ariel & Jonny Roberts, Austin, Riley, and Brooklynn Henderson, James and Carsen Mahan, Brianna McIntosh, Emily Squires, and Montana Guzman; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. In addition to his father, KJ was preceded in death by a brother, Ian Pomeroy. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro. KJ's family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at the Indianfields Township Cemetery.
